The games in the series that I know of are Commander: Napoleon at War and the newer Commander: The Great War. It's a bit more like a war game, but maybe more accessible. I think it's a little less strategic and nation managing than both the Civ and EU 4 series. They are not very difficult to play, but a large part of the games (especially Great War) have a big component of making good decisions given what is happening on the battlefield. #Civ 5 game of thrones mods without technology cap mod#I'm not familiar with the EU 4 mod scene.Īnyway, if you would like to consider a series that you may be comfortable with I would investigate the Commander series.
